Eligibility of Visiting Vessels
Only vessels register in accordance with the laws of the State of New York shall be permitted to berth at Cornhill Landing. Vessels not permitted to berth shall include, but not be limited to, those without proper insurance, registration and applicable safety equipment according to the regulations of the United State Coast Guard.
The Harbor Master must be contacted upon arrival and shall have the responsibility for allocating berthing space to visiting yachtsmen. Subject to availability, berthing space shall be allotted on a first come/first serve basis. Reservations shall not be accepted for vessels other than commercial going vessels, with a minimum 48 hour advanced notice, including but not limited to following:
- Cruise Vessels caring passengers
- Tour Boats
- NY State maintenance boats
Rafting shall be permitted only if additional vessels are instructed to raft by the Harbor Master on duty. Rafting vessels must have at least four (4) dock lines with a minimum of 2 fenders (one bow line, two spring lines, one stern line)

A visiting boat owner/operator shall remove his vessel from Cornhill Landing if instructed to do so by the Harbor Master at the sole discretion of the Harbor Master. Visitors are expected to use the common facilities, in a peaceful manner with care and respect for the rights of other individuals visiting Cornhill Landing.
