The historic Corn Hill neighborhood is the oldest residential area in Rochester.

As the home of many of Rochester's first business and political leaders, the streets are lined with beautiful Victorian homes and gardens. The affluent inhabitants of these homes choose to settle here, on the western edge of the Genesee River, more than 150 years ago and their influence can still be seen in the winding public walkways, elegant parks and magnificent architecture. Each summer the neighborhood attracts tens of thousands of visitors to its Corn Hill Arts Festival who explore the normally quiet streets, perusing the work of hundreds of local and national artists.
